Багато англійці не дуже піклуються про одяг. У Британії, так само як і в США, чоловіки в офісах носять костюми з краватками, а жінки - сукні або спідниці (не брюки). Доктора, адвокати і бізнесмени носять досить офіційний одяг.
У деяких готелях і ресторанах чоловікам доводиться надягати краватки, а жінкам - витончені сукні. Важко сказати, що носять в Британії та Штатах, тому що кожен індивідуальний.
